About Blaster Central

Video games, social media, Netflix, the list goes on.

I’m not a fan.

Why not? Let’s just say that I’m a bit old school. When I grew up, back in the day, I was always playing outside with my neighborhood friends. We’d be playing hide and seek, soccer, basketball, you name it. I absolutely loved playing outside, being active, with my best buddies.

Times have changed enormously in the last two decades. Kids hardly play outside anymore. They prefer to play video games or scroll their Facebook feeds. Soccer balls have been replaced by smartphones, tablets and giant TV screens.

So why Blaster Central? I strongly believe that home laser tag guns, Nerf blasters, or any type of toy gun for that matter, can get kids active again. Now at a mature age, I am still a huge fan of laser tag, and I also still spend lazy Sundays modifying the latest Nerf blasters.

I also have kids and I adore them. I want them to experience childhood the way I experienced it. By being active and by being social with other kids. And that’s where Nerf and laser tag come in. Shooting around with sophisticated toy blasters is fun, exciting, social and even educational.

The N-Strike Modulus series of Nerf guns is a rather unique range, in the sense that Modulus blasters are highly customizable without having to do mods.

According to Nerf, there are more than 1,000 different combinations of blasters possible within the Modulus system, which is pretty impressive.
