Released in 2024 as the flagship blaster of the N Series, the Nerf Infinite is a pump-action, single-fire blaster equipped with a 40-dart magazine.
The much-anticipated N Series introduces the N1 Dart, a new ammunition type designed to deliver enhanced speed, accuracy, and distance.
In this review, I’ll guide you through the top features of the Infinite and share my unbiased opinion.

What Is Nerf N?
The N Series is a new range of blasters that was first released in 2024. The blasters look quite similar to Elite blasters, but N Series blasters are designed to fire N1 Darts.
It’s generally believed that the N Series is set to replace the popular Elite series (and the less successful Elite 2.0) in the Nerf lineup.
N1 Dart
The new N1 Dart is shorter but wider than the classic Elite Dart and overall smaller than the Ultra Dart. Its unique design aims to enhance speed, accuracy, and distance, and my tests have confirmed that the N1 Dart does indeed outperform the Elite Dart in these areas.
The N1 Dart is specifically made for this series, meaning N blasters are only compatible with N1 Darts. It’s also worth mentioning that the Infinite comes with an impressive 80 darts, which is quite generous.
I should point out that the N Series is designed for kids aged 8 and up, and the size of the N1 Dart complies with toy safety regulations. In comparison, the AccuStrike Half-Length Dart targets an older age group.

3 Reasons to Buy the Infinite
Here’s my take on the Nerf N Series Infinite.
1. Attractive Design
While not the most crucial feature, I must say I really like the look of the blaster. To me, it’s important that a blaster not only performs well but also has a cool, slightly intimidating appearance.
In that regard, the Infinite hits the mark. It’s also much larger in person than it appears in photos or on the packaging.
2. Giant Magazine
The most unique and eye-catching feature of the Infinite is its giant magazine, capable of holding up to 40 N1 Darts.
But it’s not just the size that makes this magazine special; it’s the innovative mechanism that truly sets it apart. The magazine features a rotating chain system that loads a new dart into position each time you pump the blaster.
As the chain rotates during firing, empty dart slots become accessible, allowing you to reload on the go. This continuous reloading ability is what inspired the name “Infinite”.
Additionally, there’s extra storage at the front of the magazine, making it even easier to reload and stay in the action longer.
3. Excellent Performance
When firing, it’s clear that the Infinite, equipped with N1 Darts, outperforms the average Elite blaster.
The blaster consistently delivers around 90 FPS, which is quite impressive. Thanks to its smooth firing and loading mechanism, a rate of fire of up to 2 darts per second is easily achievable, even in single-fire mode.
Conclusion
The Infinite is a fantastic blaster that’s a lot of fun to use. It doesn’t jam, the innovative magazine system functions smoothly, the darts perform well, and overall, the blaster has a sleek, appealing design.
In short, the Infinite is a perfect flagship blaster for the new N Series, which I hope will become a big hit. With 80 darts included at a very reasonable price, you’re getting excellent value for your money.
If there’s one drawback worth mentioning, it’s the slightly cheap feel of the blaster. Don’t get me wrong; it’s a sturdy piece of equipment, but it’s clear that this isn’t a premium $200 toy.
With the launch of the new N Series in 2024 and the new Pro Series in 2023 (check my Nerf Pro Stryfe X review), Nerf’s future looks bright again, and I couldn’t be more excited to see it unfold.
